Thrive Couple & Family Counseling Services announces the promotion of clinician Emma Abel Loach, M.Ed., Ed.S., LMFT, to the role of Clinical Director.
Founded by Licensed Professional Counselor Allison Rimland in 2008 in Denver, Thrive Couple & Family Counseling Services focuses on healing people and families to support connection, joy, and emotional growth. According to owner Allison Rimland, "Thrive Couple & Family Counseling Services is changing the way couples, families, and individuals approach mental health."
Thrive’s clinical team of relationship therapists in the Denver Tech Center strive to provide exceptional counseling to people who want better relationships with significant others, themselves, their families, and their friends.
Each Thrive relationship specialist has advanced training in the research-based Couples Counseling method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). The therapy team continually invests in relationship therapy training. Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy provides a road map to relationship repair and recovery as well as being well-researched and empirically supported. Research has proven that EFT offers long lasting and meaningful results that can improve relationship satisfaction for years to come.
Owner Allson Rimland commentend, “We are delighted to share the promotion announcement of Emma Abel Loach, M.Ed., Ed.S., LMFT to Clinical Director at Thrive.” Loach is a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist and Level 2 Gottman Couple Therapist who has received advanced training in Emotionally Focused Family Therapy and Repairing Infidelity.
In addition, Loach is certified to use the Prepare-Enrich curriculum to support couples through premarital counseling. Along with couples and individual counseling, Loach works with families, children, and teens utilizing play therapy and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy.
Loach’s role as Clinical Director will allow her to continue to support couples, individuals, and families in Denver and throughout the state of Colorado in practicing communication skills, building and rebuilding trust, and improving their close relationships.
“As Clinical Director, I love helping clients and therapists have a successful experience in couples therapy, individual therapy, and family therapy. When people are able to have more acceptance of their own emotions, they are able to experience more connection, less conflict cycles, show up with more vulnerability, and feel more empowered,” says Loach.
Rimland states, “Her clinical specialties and experience give her a unique perspective on the importance of relationships for mental health and ways to improve relationships of all types. As Clinical Director, Loach will provide counseling supervision to the team of therapists serving couples, individuals and families in-person in the Denver Tech Center area and throughout Colorado via online counseling.”
